Tarot -21- World

The fool has been many places and seen her fill of the world. It has been a wonder-filled journey, but it is coming to an end. Her eyes close and she dreams. In her dream she is in a dark, stoney room, watching a dancer perform. Behind the dancer is a crude carving of the world in which she had traveled.

The dancer has four arms and in each hand is a different item. A sword, a cup, a string of coins and a wand. Suddenly the fool realizes that the dance that the woman is performing is a tale of the fool's own life!
She sits, entranced as the mystical woman, savage and strong, kind and beautiful, dances. Each of her experiences put into steps, from the beginning of her journey, until this very moment.
Finally, as the dancer takes her bow, the fool realizes that all has been completed, everything has come to an end. She has finished what she set out to do, and has finally become what it was that she wanted to be, so long ago.

Wholeness, completion, satisfaction and everything coming full circle

This card leapt out when I least expected it. I was doodling around in a funk when I drew the face, then all the sudden the whole sketch came out. It took a few days (since I've been working and doing school stuff) to finish, but I'm glad that it's done now. I was going to wait to post it until the end, but I couldn't sit on it, it just ended too well, and I'm sure that you guys wouldn't want me keeping Lily all to myself, would you?
